The history of ALBA – METAL Company goes back to December 1989. In 1992, it was established as a company with limited liability. It is a purely Czech family business. Since 1994, the company has processed metals in the newly renovated light industry zone in the village of Ladna near Breclav. This industrial zone is located in the near proximity of Austrian and Slovakian border, a few dozen meters from the highway and rail corridor Prague – Brno – Bratislava – Vienna. ALBA – METAL Company s.r.o. operates in its own premises with total area of 70,000 m2 and about 6,000 square meters of production area undercover. Currently, the company employs 120 workers. The firm is organizationally divided into three separate divisions in order to ensure maximum production flexibility.

Since 1995, the company’s Steel Construction Division has manufactured and installed steel buildings with a wide spectrum of applications. The halls are used by customers for the storage of materials in industry and agriculture. In addition, the halls are also used for sports such as tennis, floorball, or show jumping. Cladding is made out from technical textiles, from sandwich panels or corrugated sheets. Since 2003, the firm has represented the Israeli company Diuk Arches and has been selling their self-supporting halls. The company also manufactures and assembles party tents, which can be rented by customers for the purpose of holding private or corporate events, exhibitions, garden events, etc.
Wire Reinforcement Division was established in 1998 and deals with wire shaping by CNC technology. During the manufacturing process the wire from the coil is straightened, divided on the exact lengths and then shaped by CNC technology into complex 3D forms. Most products are used as reinforcement in the car seat of renowned car manufacturers such as Skoda, VW, Audi, Ford, Porsche, Suzuki, Volvo, Renault, Opel, and others. The company also owns the leading robotic technology for different types of welding of these parts.

Health Technology Division has manufactured hospital beds, couches, and accessories since 1992. The company is a stable supplier of medical equipment in the Czech Republic, Slovak Republic and in some countries of Eastern Europe. Its customers include hospitals, retirement homes, private practice physicians and other health facilities. In 2008 the company extended its product portfolio by stainless steel operating tables and furniture for veterinary medicine.

The company holds ISO 9001:2008, ISO / TS 16949:2009, ISO 14001:2004 Certificates and a certificate for the manufacture of steel structures, a certificate for the construction of small vessels and individual certificates for production of medical devices.
